James started trading in 2016 and love the challenges...
JAMES "JIMMY" HALL started trading in 2016 and has an unwavering passion for trading and financial markets. He confesses that his "bumpy" path less traveled made him stronger and he loves to shorten the learning curve of other traders by sharing his experiences.
EVERY TRADER HAS A STORY: Jimmy is a proud father of two special daughters and has been married for 26+ years. Since high school, he's been fixated on the financial markets and naturally went on to study finance in college. Thereafter, Jimmy became a Series 7 stock broker. He realized quickly that the fast-paced, feast-or-famine nature of that life was not for him. In fact, Jimmy confesses that the experience taught him little about trading at all. After moving on from being a professional in the financial arena, he focused on many other avenues to support his family over the years. However, every pursuit had a common thread... long hours, exhausting workloads and it all took a major toll on his family relationships and health. Then, Jimmy woke up one day and had an epiphany. The most important thing was his family and health, and there had to be a better way. That same day he walked into his boss' office and he resigned on the spot. Now that takes courage! It was at this time that Jimmy returned to one of his first loves, trading. His motivation skyrocketed, his health improved and so did his connection with his family. However, Jimmy learned quickly that trading has a way of resurfacing past emotions and remains one of the most challenging endeavors. There are so many ups and downs and emotions to navigate daily regardless of experience level. That said, to this day Jimmy embraces those challenges in trading and his perpetual drive to improve motivates him every day. A self-confessed work in progress, Jimmy's enthusiasm for markets is second to none and his positive vibes are contagious.
FUN FACT: In his mid-40s, James unexpectedly grew an inch taller and his hands/feet grew while also packing on around 20 pounds of muscle... all without any significant lifestyle changes.
